Eternal Summer.Eternal summer. The summer is a time of life exorbitant. The world springs into a sudden exigency at its inception, like frantic mid-wives preparing to birth a soon-coming baby. It rushes pass all the other sluggish seasons with the grace and speed of a doe. God breathes life into the land and sky, and then everything swiftly quickens: the grass grows green, leaves bud on the trees, and flowers bloom bright above the once gloomy ground. The sweltering heat of life forces away the countless cold dead days of winter. Nature soon takes the charge, then everything else follows suit in a festive parade of animation: children, unleashed from their dull, cramped classrooms, romp and play in the parks and playgrounds, the birds sing their summer symphonies high in the lush trees, and the bees and butterflies buzz and flutter in the flower-filled fields. The whole earth seems to flourish in a life-giving purity, which is constantly and contentedly celebrated. &
